RUNNING FOR TEAM HOYT BECAUSE:

I’ve seen firsthand how life can change in an instant and how important support, inclusion, and community are during difficult times. Through experiences in my own family, I’ve learned that everyone deserves the opportunity to participate, feel empowered, and be part of something bigger than themselves. Team Hoyt’s "Yes You Can" spirit embodies resilience, determination, and breaking down barriers, which is why I’m proud to run and fundraise for this incredible mission. Every mile I run is a chance to help create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to experience the joy of sports, community, and belonging.

RUNNING FOR TEAM HOYT BECAUSE:

Running the New York City Marathon has always been a dream of mine, but to do it as part of Team Hoyt takes that aspiration to a profoundly personal level.

My dad's childhood friend, Mike, was involved in a motorcycle accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down. Mike never let that define him. He tackled life like the Hoyts tackled their races, with determination and grace, refusing to be sidelined.

Running Team Hoyt is way of honoring Mike's legacy, channeling his strength into every step, raising awareness for those with disabilities, and supporting the foundation's mission to empower people facing similar challenges.

I truly feel aligned with the Team Hoyt mission and am honored to be a part of Team Hoyt for the NYC Marathon.

Team Hoyt’s commitment to inclusion and empowering individuals with disabilities through sports and beyond is deeply inspiring, and I am proud to run and fundraise in support of that mission. Being able to take on that challenge alongside a group of Houlihan Lokey colleagues makes it even more rewarding, not only as a shared personal accomplishment, but also as an opportunity to come together and raise even more meaningful support for the organization.

RUNNING FOR TEAM HOYT BECAUSE:

I had the chance to run for the Hoyt Foundation in Boston two years ago, and it was such a meaningful experience for me. I’m inspired by the mission of inclusion through sport, and being part of Team Hoyt made it feel real in a way I hadn’t expected. It feels like we were all part of something bigger than just a race, and that’s why I’m running for Team Hoyt again.
