Team Hoyt is more than a running team — it is a community of passionate individuals united by a commitment to inclusion. By raising funds for The Hoyt Foundation, our athletes help create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build character, self-confidence, and self-esteem. Together, we empower them to participate fully in family life, at school, at work and — of course — in sports, where the legacy of Dick and Rick Hoyt continues to inspire the world.
By joining Team Hoyt, you will gain access to:
- Charity runners in need of a bib as well as registered qualified runners
with their own bib are welcome to apply to our team - Entry into the 2026 Boston Marathon presented by Bank of America
- Full and personalized 20-week training plan for every level of running by
RRCA certified coaches with organized group runs throughout the season
starting in December - Runners will receive professional fundraising and training support
through CharityTeams.com - Organized point to point long runs on the course with aid station support.

Officially qualified participants who are already entered in the 130th
Boston Marathon that wish to raise funds for The Hoyt Foundation may still do so by reaching out to Susan@charityteams.com and/or amy@teamhoyt.com.
Those interested in applying, must meet the criteria outlined below.
For runners in need of an entry/bib into the race:
- If selected for our team, you must pay a $100 team fee upon acceptance to secure your spot. This will apply to your fundraising commitment
- Commit to Raising $13,000 USD
- Pay a $375 race entry fee to the Boston Athletic Association in January
For runners with their own race entry bib, either Qualified or Invitational:
- If selected for our team, pay a $100 team fee. This will apply to your fundraising commitment
- Commit to raising $3,000 USD
